Mr. Alexandros Zan Diamantis

Alexandros Zan Diamantis氏は、名古屋とワシントンDCを拠点とする米国特許弁護士です。Diamantis氏は、大手多国籍企業から新興企業まで幅広い企業と緊密に連携することで、各企業が直面する課題に対する見識をおもちです。主に、太平洋を横断する知的財産権の調達と行使を促進することに重点を置かれています。
Diamantis氏は、ニューヨーク大学で電気工学修士号、エモリー大学で物理化学修士号、ニューハンプシャー大学（フランクリン・ピアース・ロー・センター）で法学博士号を取得され、これまでさまざまな技術に携わっていらっしゃいます。

Alexandros Zan Diamantis is a US patent attorney in the Nagoya and Washington, DC areas. By working closely with a wide range of companies, from large multinationals to startups, Diamantis has gained insight into the challenges facing each of these companies. He is primarily focused on facilitating the procurement and enforcement of IP rights across the Pacific Ocean.
Having obtained a master of electrical engineering degree from New York University, a master of physical chemistry from Emory University, and a juris doctorate from the University of New Hampshire (Franklin Pierce Law Center), Diamantis has had the opportunity to work on a wide variety of technologies.

講演のテーマは「テクノロジー・スタートアップとしての知的財産の活用」です。ビジネスを確実に成功させるためには、知的財産（I P）の保護が不可欠です。知的財産権を取得し、行使する場合、各企業はそれぞれ独自の課題を抱えています。このセッションでは、小規模企業やスタートアップ企業が直面するユニークな課題に焦点を当てます。特許を中心に、知的財産権制度をうまく利用し、会社のビジネスプランの範囲内で最大限の利益を得るためのヒントや戦略についてお話しいただきます。

The theme of the talk is ‘Leveraging Intellectual Property as a Technology Startup’. Protecting intellectual property (IP) is essential for ensuring business success. When obtaining and enforcing IP rights, each company has its own challenges. During this presentation, we will focus on some of the unique challenges facing small and startup companies. With a primary focus on patents, we will discuss tips and strategies for navigating the IP system to maximize benefits while remaining within the bounds of the company’s business plan.
