Founder & CEO of Fōcaris & Taanaj

Gerardo氏は、Fōcaris & Taanaj の創設者兼 CEO です。 Fōcaris & Taanaj は、持続可能な建設のための代替材料の研究、開発、生産に重点を置いたメキシコ初のバイオテクノロジー企業です。

Gerardo氏はは若い起業家であり、大学 1 年生であり、才能の有る起業家対象とした奨学金の受賞者であり、すでに 3 つの事業を設立し、メキシコ共和国の 5 つの州にわたる 800 以上の個人と 4 つのコミュニティに直接影響を与えています。

Mr. Gerardo Calderón is a founder & CEO of Fōcaris & Taanaj. Fōcaris & Taanaj is the first Mexican biotechnology company focused on the research, development and production of substitute materials for sustainable construction.

Mr. Gerardo is a young entreprenur, 1st year University student and winner of the Entrepreneurial Talent Scholarship, and already found three organizations, directly impacting over 800 individuals and four communities across five states of the Mexican Republic.

Gerardo氏は 19 歳の学生で、今年のメキシコにおける最優秀起業家です。若くしてスタートアップを立ち上げた際の経験、モチベーション、課題などについて共有していただきます。

Gerardo is a 19 years old student, Mexican entrepreneur of the year that will share his experience, motivations and challenges when building a startup at a young age.

Postscript

It was a nice talk with Gerardo, he talked about how he balances work and study. His insights about team building and going through the projects to find the right co-founder is what any entrepreneur can relate to. With him working in an team collaborating with international companies at this age would inspire a lot of high school students. This endeavour of his balancing social entrepreneurship with a model that can generate revenue can be a big help to developing countries dealing with the same problem as his.
