Scott L. Lind, Ph.D. is an international educator and trainer, who works with Japanese university students, international students from over 50 countries & territories, and global executives & their families. Dr. Lind provides in-bound & out-bound intercultural training related to intercultural communication competency, multicultural/global team success, cultural adjustment, and business communication.
He has a Ph.D. in Communication Studies, with emphasis in Intercultural Communication. His dissertation addressed issues experienced by Japanese university students in the United States. For over a decade, he was active at the Summer Institute for Intercultural Communication in Portland, Oregon, where he annually coordinated a global team in the Fellows Program. Dr. Lind is passionate about the importance of diversity in achieving team success.
About the program:
The program is designed for participants to develop the knowledge, skills & mindset to participate effectively as a member of a multicultural team. Topics covered in the program include: team building, creating cultural synergy, conflict management, task & relationship roles, personal leadership, and language & culture.
