「VIRTUAL EDITION EntreHack」開催の変更について

全国で新型コロナウイルス感染症(COVID-19)が拡大する中、名古屋大学では大学の様々な活動に関しての指針が出され、対面での課外活動は9月1日から9月30日まで行わない方針となりました。今回のイベントも対象となります。

「VIRTUAL EDITION EntreHack」開催につきまして、9月4日(土)の開催は中止とさせていただきます。

また9月5日(日)~9月10日(金)はフルオンラインで行います(時間変更はありません)。会場でのご参加はなくなりましたので、各自家からオンラインにてご参加をお願いします。

VIRTUAL EDITION

A hands-on, online entrepreneurship programme

Learning Objectives

1. This online bootcamp will expose students to the new venture creation cycle, via experiential hands-on activities done digitally.
2. Students will pick up technical skills and soft skills, by experiencing what it means to be a co-founder. Students are expected to demonstrate an entrepreneurial mindset over the course of the programme, as well as pick up startup best practices such as user-centric design, lean methodology, validation and value creation.
3. At the end of the bootcamp, students will deliver an abridged investor pitch deck with an accompanying prototype, centered around a selected theme.

Leading a Multicultural Team Workshop

Instructor:
Scott L. Lind, Ph.D. of Intercultural Communication
Associate Professor at Kansai Gaidai University, Asian study program

Scott L. Lind, Ph.D. is an international educator and trainer, who works with Japanese university students, international students from over 50 countries & territories, and global executives & their families. Dr. Lind provides in-bound & out-bound intercultural training related to intercultural communication competency, multicultural/global team success, cultural adjustment, and business communication.
He has a Ph.D. in Communication Studies, with emphasis in Intercultural Communication. His dissertation addressed issues experienced by Japanese university students in the United States.  For over a decade, he was active at the Summer Institute for Intercultural Communication in Portland, Oregon, where he annually coordinated a global team in the Fellows Program.  Dr. Lind is passionate about the importance of diversity in achieving team success.

About the program:
The program is designed for participants to develop the knowledge, skills & mindset to participate effectively as a member of a multicultural team. Topics covered in the program include: team building, creating cultural synergy, conflict management, task & relationship roles, personal leadership, and language & culture.
