Connecting research with society—and the world!
Your research has the potential to address social challenges and create new value for society. Tongali Hakase program is a hands-on entrepreneurship program designed to help you learn how to bring your research results to society and create impact through your research. The ability to communicate the value of your research, collaborate with people from diverse backgrounds, and create new value together is useful not only for starting a business, but also for a wide range of career paths in academia, industry, government, and beyond.

- 各自の専門分野(ディープテック)での事業化をめざしている学生。
- 東海地区（岐阜県・静岡県・愛知県・三重県）に本部機能を置くの大学の博士前期課程（修士課程）または博士後期課程に在籍している学生。
- 国内外のすべての研修に参加可能な学生。
- 研修を受講するのに必要な語学力(英語が大半)を有する学生。
- Students aiming to commercialize in their respective fields of expertise (deep tech).
- Students enrolled in a master’s program or doctoral program at a university with its headquarters located in the Tokai region (Gifu, Shizuoka, Aichi, and Mie Prefectures).
- Students who are able to participate in all training programs. (It is possible to apply with team members, teams should consist of max two master or doctoral program students.)
- Students possessing the necessary language proficiency to participate in training (the course will be mainly in English).

- 国内研修： 無料（交通費は自己負担）
Program in Japan: Free (transportation fee have to cover by themselves) - 海外研修： 往復航空券、滞在費、プログラム費用は無料 （海外旅行保険、VISA代等は自己負担）
Oversea program: Round-trip airfare, accommodation, and program fees are covered (Overseas travel insurance, visa fees, etc. are the participant’s responsibility)

国内研修 Program in Japan
海外研修に向けて、研究成果をもとにビジネスアイデアをブラッシュアップし、展示会で紹介するためのMVPとピッチデックを作成します。
講義や個別メンタリングを通して、事業化に必要な知識やスキルを身に付けます。
Ahead of the overseas training, you will refine a business idea based on your research outcomes and develop an MVP and pitch deck to showcase at an international exhibition. You will gain the knowledge and skills needed to turn your research into a viable business through lectures and one-on-one mentoring.

Online lecture on the U.S. startup ecosystem (in English, approximately 2 hours)
2027｜1月 JAN ビジネスプラン個別メンタリング Individual Business Plan Mentoring
- ビジネスモデルや市場性について専門家によるアドバイス

2027｜1～2月 JAN-FEB 展示・ピッチ準備メンタリング Exhibition & Pitch Preparation Mentoring
- MVP作成やピッチデックをブラッシュアップし、英語での発表を練習
Refine your MVP and pitch deck, and practice presenting in English - 各チーム3回（オンライン・英語・日程個別調整）
Three sessions per team (online, in English; schedule arranged individually)

Silicon Valley Training
Based at the University of California, Berkeley, participants will attend lectures, connect with local startups and researchers, and pitch their ideas to investors. - SXSW出展
世界最大級のビジネスカンファレンス・フェスティバル「SXSW」にブースを出展し、プロダクトや研究成果の展示、来場者へのデモンストレーション、海外企業・投資家・研究者へのピッチや世界中のイノベーターとの交流を通して、研究成果やビジネスアイデアを世界へ発信します。
Exhibition at SXSW
Participants will exhibit at SXSW, one of the world’s largest business conferences and festivals. Through showcasing their products and research results, demonstrating their work to visitors, pitching to international companies, investors, and researchers, and connecting with innovators from around the world, participants will have the opportunity to take their research results and business ideas to the global stage.
